Tampa Bay Ray outfielder Gabe Gross and his wife Kelly welcomed a baby girl! Born on Sunday, May 3, the little girl was named Allie Lee Gross. Gabe told Tampa Bay Online that he was overjoyed with the new baby, but saddened by having to leave his wife and newborn to rejoin his team.
“You hear all the time about guys, so-and-so is not with the team, having their first or second baby. I don’t think you think about the moment you have to leave and know that you’re not going to see them for a while.”
Congratulations to Gabe, and hopefully he will be able to visit his family soon.
