The former NYPD Blue Star, Rick Schroder, accredits his kids for his strong marriage. He tells Detroit Free Press, “I would say it’s the four children that help keep our relationship strong,” on his marriage of 18 years to wife Andrea. After experiencing a major injury with the oldest son Holden, 18, when he suffered a head injury during a motorbike accident, Schroder admits that the family has a new perspective on life. Schroder and the family are currently living abroad in Barcelona, Spain. After growing from the bad experiences, it makes it easier to appreciate what you have in the moment. He admires his kids for the strength it gives to his marriage and says, “We talk about the kids all the time, and notice traits they have of each of us. It helps us appreciate each other more.”
