Jerry O’Connell made an appearance yesterday on the Rachael Ray show and talked about his family as well as role in the hit show, The Defenders. O’Connell is married to Rebecca Romjin and now the father of two beautiful girls Charlie Tamara Tulip and Dolly Rebecca Rose. One of the moments he is facing now raising his fraternal twin daughters is that they are starting to talk!
A very exciting time in any parents life is when their child starts to talk, O’Connell is finding struggles as well as humor is his little girl’s speech patterns. He says on the Rachael Ray show, “If they see a clock they look at it and say, ‘clock,’ but they mispronounce it. They drop the ‘l’ from it. I don’t want to react because I don’t want them to know it’s a bad word, but I want to encourage them to talk so I’m like, ‘That’s good!’”
O’Connell is certainly outnumbered in his household with the females outnumbering him 3 to 1. The 36 year old actor jokes, “The girl thing is like, ‘Wow,’” He is enjoying this time with his beautiful family and the humorous struggles he faces today. However, it will be interesting to see how he handles his girls as they begin to grow into adolescence!
