It’s a Boy for the Garner-Affleck Family!

Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner welcomed a new addition to their family just as February was coming to a close. A source close to the couple confirmed to PEOPLE that Ben and Jen’s new addition was born in Santa Monica California.

The couple’s third child is joined by big sister Violet, 6, and Seraphina, 3. Having two little girls and now a baby boy might take time to get used to for the new mommy who recently said, “It would be so weird to have a boy.”

Congratulations Ben and Jen on your beautiful, growing family!

K Fed’s Plans to Keep sons Jayden and Sean “Grounded”

According to a report published by The Herald Sun, Kevin Federline admits that his two sons with former wife Britney Spears have missed out on a lot in their first few years because of their busy parents. To keep the boys grounded, Federline has come up with a new approach on raising his star-studded boys, “Now we’ve both agreed that this is it, they are going to be at school and learn what it’s like to be part of society as normal kids.”

He has also planned for the two to attribute to their community by working at a fast food joint as their first gig. “I’ll have them working at Micky D’s,” he said. “That’s how we had to do it! I worked at a car wash. I worked at a pizza place. Things like that made me.”

Nicole Richie and Joel Madden: Differing Personalities

Nicole Richie, 30, and Joel Madden of punk band Good Charlotte tied the knot in December of 2010 just after welcoming two beautiful children. Their first child was a baby girl by the name of Harlow Winter Kate Richie Madden who was born on January 11th of 2008. On September 9th of 2009, Sparrow James Midnight Madden was born, completing the couple’s picturesque family.

 With two children come a slew of unique traits, personalities, and funky quirks that parents instinctively love. Richie, fashion icon, guru, and mother of two opened up to Ocean Drive magazine about her children’s differing personalities and her former wild child ways. And when it comes to her children, like Richie and Husband Madden, they are complete opposites.

“My daughter [Harlow] looks exactly like me, and she has Joel’s personality. She’s very careful,” she said. “She doesn’t make a move without fully thinking about what the consequences would be and what that means.” 

Whether it’s just the case of the terrible two’s or a glimpse of what is to come, son Sparrow is giving his parents a run for their money. “[Sparrow] looks exactly like Joel and has my personality. He’s just wild. I’m in for the ride. We’ve had broken fingers, we’ve been to the hospital – you cannot take your eye off of him for a second. He is just a full, free spirit.”

Rockin’ Baby Names

I bet you never knew that yesterday, February 23rd, was celebrated by some of the most famous rockers in the history of Rock n’ Roll. Johnny Winter, ranking 74th in the Rolling Stone magazine’s list of the top “100 Greatest Guitarists of All Time,” was born on on February 23rd in 1944. Howard Jones and Aerosmith’s Brad Whitford also celebrated a birthday yesterday. In honor of these musically endowed men, here are eight baby names that might inspire you for a Rock n’ Roll baby born in the spring of 2012.

A Princess was born on Thursday, February 23rd

Swedish Crown Princess Victoria, 34, and husband Prince Daniel welcomed a baby girl to their family on Thursday, February 23rd, 2012. This is the royal couple’s first child together, but will it be their last? The proud prince shared with the Stockholm News that their new addition arrived at 4:26 a.m.

“As I walked down from the room the little princess rested on her mother’s chest, and seemed to have it very cozy, so it was hard to tear oneself away,” he said. “Both the little daughter and the Crown Princess are doing great. The Crown Princess feels radiant, she is so happy… as you might guess, we need to just be our little family now.”

Sweden is now a bit more royal with its newest arrival. The 7 lb., 3 oz. baby girl will someday rule as the Queen of Sweden. Her mother, Crown Princess Victoria of Sweden was the first-born of Queen Silvia and King Carl and is the first in line to the Swedish throne.

Congratulations to a royal blessing and a happy and healthy mother and baby!

Is there a Baby on the Way for Drew Barrymore?

Take it from skeptical fans and the Paparazzi to pin a supposed pregnancy on celebrities in the spotlight. Pregnancy rumors rocked England and the U.S. when fingers were pointed at Kate Middleton who had just tied the knot with Prince William. The same can be said for Jennifer Aniston. Is she really pregnant with twins or is the media keeping an all too close eye on her with her new beau?

Drew Barrymore is under intense media speculation after she was seen leaving a doctor’s office with a sonogram in-hand last weekend. According to a source close to Barrymore, “Drew is so motherly.” They also added that “Will would like to be a dad. Family is so important to him.”

Will Kopelman recently proposed to the 36-year-old actress.  Now, with wedding bells a-ringing, Barrymore’s comment in March of 2010 is beginning to surface and is paving the way for the belief that Barrymore’s status will shortly be changed to soon-to-be mommy and wife! “Well I’d never say never to marriage and kids,” she said a mere two years ago.

If the rumors are true, congratulations to the recently engaged couple and their soon-to-be!

Bethenny Frankel’s Revealing News and Love for Daughter Bryn

Bethenny Frankel, the 41-year-old reality TV star known for her show Bethenny Ever revealed, on the Today Show, that she recently had a miscarriage. The pregnancy of her second child fell short at a mere 8-weeks. Though this bit of information was not the topic of discussion, when asked about her hopes for her second child, Frankel began to get emotional and revealed her latest discoveries.
“I’m 41 it’s a very personal question,” she said. “We were pregnant with a second baby and at eight weeks I miscarried. That was a very emotional experience. I’m not thinking about it. I have an incredible daughter. I have truthfully thought about other women, more than myself. Oh my God, I can’t believe what people go through who can’t have the one.”


In addition to her statement, Frankel added: “Until you become a woman, you don’t know the things that come with it. The window is closing, and it’s something I’m dealing with.”
She and husband Jason Hoppy are very proud parents to their daughter Bryn, who is now almost 2-years-old.

Gary Barlow and Wife Expecting Baby No. 4

The UK’s X Factor has grown in popularity over the past 8 years since it began back in September of 2004. In the United States, American Idol is the equivalent in television entertainment. Series 8 of The X Factor brought about a new panel of judges to join Louis Walsh. One of which was Gary Barlow, a singer-songwriter, record producer, and father to 3.

Just yesterday on February 19th, 2012, Barlow, 41, announced via Twitter that he and wife Dawn were expecting baby No. 4.

“My wife and I are expecting our 4th child #Anotherowngoal” he said. He followed the unveiling comment with: “Next goal ‘Celebrity Dad of the year’ #moveasideandre,” referring to Peter Andre who took that title in 2010.

The couple has continued to grow their family since tying the knot in 2000. Baby No. 4 will be joined by big brother Daniel, 11, and big sisters Emily, 9, and Daisy, 3.

Denise Richards: Living It Up on Her down Time

Denise Richards, a single mother to three young girls, spoke of the delicate balance between work and parenting—she should have also added her ageless beauty tips to the mix for women viewers to delve into. Though she did not share her beauty secret, she did give insight as to how to keep your cool, as a parent, when the pressure is turned up.

“You have to take the pressure off yourself. If you try to make everything perfectly balanced, that can create guilt. When I’m working, things give at home and when I’m at home, things give at work,” Denise shared with Women’s Wear Daily.

Life is not all about work for Denise. On her down time, she likes to like it up with her three beautiful girls: Eloise, 8, Sam, 7, and Lola who is 6 years old. Sneaking off to bask in the sun with her girls is one of the things that she enjoys most about the time spent with her family.

Where can you find Denise and her gang? “I love Hawaii. I love the Caribbean. I love the Bahamas. I love Anguilla. I love the sun and warm weather – anywhere that has a tropical feel,” she says.

Ex-husband Charlie Sheen tagged along with Denise and the girls as they vacationed in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico just last month!

First Photos of Blue Ivy Carter

Beyoncé and Jay-Z’s beautiful baby Blue Ivy was born on January 7th of 2012 and is just now making her entrance into the spotlight! Her long awaited introduction has kept fans, and the media, at the edge of their seat in anticipation. The Knowles-Carters unveiled five images of baby Blue in an intimate family setting. At just over 1 month old, the couple’s new addition already has a full head of long beautiful black hair and looks quaint in mommy’s arms.

Beyoncé, 30, and Jay-Z, 42, tied the knot in 2008 and have blossomed as a family since. Blue Ivy is the couple’s first child, but will she be the last?
