Bethenny Frankel, the 41-year-old reality TV star known for her show Bethenny Ever revealed, on the Today Show, that she recently had a miscarriage. The pregnancy of her second child fell short at a mere 8-weeks. Though this bit of information was not the topic of discussion, when asked about her hopes for her second child, Frankel began to get emotional and revealed her latest discoveries.
“I’m 41 it’s a very personal question,” she said. “We were pregnant with a second baby and at eight weeks I miscarried. That was a very emotional experience. I’m not thinking about it. I have an incredible daughter. I have truthfully thought about other women, more than myself. Oh my God, I can’t believe what people go through who can’t have the one.”
In addition to her statement, Frankel added: “Until you become a woman, you don’t know the things that come with it. The window is closing, and it’s something I’m dealing with.”
She and husband Jason Hoppy are very proud parents to their daughter Bryn, who is now almost 2-years-old.
