Drew Barrymore’s Baby Shower, Cameron Diaz Style

Drew Barrymore Baby Shower: mission accomplished. Who else can say they were treated to a baby shower thrown by Cameron Diaz? The gal pal from when both ladies starred in the 2000 version of Charlie’s Angels put together the baby soiree. It’s been quite an action packed last few months for Barrymore, and it’s only going to get busier!

Barrymore has been photographed for months with an ever growing bump, and if recent photos are any indication, she must be getting super close to her due date. The Diaz dazzled baby shower wasn’t a typical indoor occasion with baby-themed games, but was an outdoor event in Cameron’s backyard, complete with a bouncy house for kids to play in. Maybe it was a preview of what Barrymore can look forward to in the not so distant future!

Drew just recently married her husband, Will Kopelman, on June 2, 2012. This is her third marriage, but her first baby shower, and her first baby! People Magazine quoted Barrymore on her wedding, saying, “The day was perfect. Everyone we love and care about was there. It was as fun and meaningful as we could have hoped.” The article also includes that the reception afterward included a comedic roast by Barrymore’s bridesmaids, and a hamburger truck delivery of extra snacks late in the evening. Does this not sound like the best wedding ever? If Cameron is anything like Drew, and we’re assuming she is, the baby shower must have been a blast, too!

Barrymore’s husband is an art consultant and son of former Chanel CEO Arie Kopelman. Having an actress for a mom and a dad with an eye for art—this kid will be set! Not to mention having people like Cameron Diaz around! Congrats to Drew Barrymore and her husband, and we cannot wait until the baby is born!
