Tamara Mowry-Housley is officially a mom! The “Sister, Sister” actress welcomed her first child with husband Adam Housley on Nov. 12, People reports. The happy parents chose the cutest name—Aden James Tanner.
We usually hear about mothers going into early labor, but that wasn’t the case for Tamara. Aden was born practically a full two weeks after his original due date, Oct. 30. As a guest celebrity blogger for People.com, Tamara wrote, “If I have yet to learn patience, my son is in the process of teaching me now. I have learned that I am not in control and that he will decide when he comes.” We can imagine waiting any time after the scheduled due date must have been extremely difficult!
Aden will already be in good company—Tamera’s sister, Tia, gave birth to a son of her own on June 28, 2011. Cree is already over one year old, but we think he will have fun playing with his new cousin Aden.
Both Tia and Tamera documented their pregnancies on their Style network show, “Tia and Tamera.” The show has recently showed Tamera having to sacrifice closet space as she and her husband made room in their home for Aden’s nursery. We’re sure she won’t even be thinking of the lost closet space after spending some time with her little boy.
Congratulations to both Tamera and her husband, and we’re glad everyone is happy and healthy!
