First Photos of Blue Ivy Carter

Beyoncé and Jay-Z’s beautiful baby Blue Ivy was born on January 7th of 2012 and is just now making her entrance into the spotlight! Her long awaited introduction has kept fans, and the media, at the edge of their seat in anticipation. The Knowles-Carters unveiled five images of baby Blue in an intimate family setting. At just over 1 month old, the couple’s new addition already has a full head of long beautiful black hair and looks quaint in mommy’s arms.

Beyoncé, 30, and Jay-Z, 42, tied the knot in 2008 and have blossomed as a family since. Blue Ivy is the couple’s first child, but will she be the last?

Jay-Z is at it again. The music sensation adored by many has something new to sing about—and he is. Not even a week after the birth of his first child with his better half, Beyoncé, Jay-Z released a song that has already become a viral sensation. Blue Ivy Carter, born on January 7th, 2012 was, as quoted by Jay-Z in his new song Glory, his greatest creation: “The most amazing feeling I feel/ Words can’t describe what I’m feeling for real/ Maybe I paint the sky blue/ My greatest creation was you. You. Glory.” At a mere 5 days old, USA TODAY has said it perfectly, “Blue is probably cooler than you,” here’s why:

Jay-Z and Kanye West might be musical masters to us, but to Blue, they are merely “Dad” and “Uncle.”

Gwyneth Paltrow is known as “Auntie G.”

B.I.C has already taken part in a Jay-Z song and has become the youngest ever on Billboard.

Weekend Rewind: Blue Ivy is Finally Here!

Beyoncé and Jay-Z welcomed a baby girl to the world this weekend!

The hot duo announced that they were expecting in the most shocking way when Beyoncé, 30, revealed her belly at MTV’s Video Music Awards in August of 2011. During her performance of “Love on Top” she ended with “Feel the love that’s growing inside of me” right before she opened her blazer to expose that she was expecting. In the audience, fans and friends cheered and congratulated hubby Jay-Z who could not seem to wipe the smile off of his face.

Blue Ivy Carter was the talk of the town as Tweets poured in from fans and celebrities across the world. A few to congratulate the couple were Rihanna, Russell Simmons, and Gwyneth Paltrow who tweeted “Welcome to the world, Blue. We love you already.”

Now that she is here, people everywhere have asked, “Why did the two choose Blue Ivy as their daughter’s name?” According to a GMA exclusive, the name ‘Blue’ comes from Jay-Z’s favorite color and ‘Ivy’ comes from the significance of the number 4 (IV) in roman numerals. Beyoncé and Jay-Z were born September 4th and December 4th and married on April 4th. Beyoncé’s latest album was also entitled ‘4.’

Observers at the NYC Lenox Hill Hospital reported to US Weekly that Jay-Z looked awfully happy walking through the halls of the 1.3 million dollar reserved floor of the hospital on Saturday morning. Beyoncé’s family was also spotted on the floor with pink balloons, flowers, and silver and black ribbons. 

Congratulations to Beyoncé and Jay-Z for welcoming a healthy baby girl into their family.

Going out with a Bang!

As December comes to a close, celebrity baby news seems to be more prevalent than ever before. To date, the list of celebrities expecting a child within the next few weeks/months ranges from the beautiful Beyoncé to mommy-to-be Jessica Simpson and many others in between. Angelina Jolie is not currently pregnant but admits that she and hubby Brad Pitt have not ruled out the thought of having more children. With seven and counting, the Brangelina crew might be the new-aged Brady Bunch. 

Last week, reports rolled in that Fantasia Barrino would be expecting her second child to accompany daughter Zion, 10. From American Idol to Dancing With the Stars winner J.R Martinez, it seems as though celebrities from the far west to the north east and from the deep south are on the plus one list for the upcoming year.

Fans around the world who are inspired by the soft, sweet tunes of Eric Church, 34, were thrilled to hear that he and wife Katherine welcomed a baby boy on October 3rd of this year. It wasn’t until yesterday that the media got their first glimpse at the southern cutie, Boone McCoy Church. According to Church in a recent interview with PEOPLE, “Everyone always tells you what an awesome and unique experience being a parent is, but words can never do the feeling justice,” he said.

Crazy Celebrity Cravings

There is no doubt about it that this year began with a few a kicks. Baby kicks that is, in the stomachs of our favorite celebrity mommies and mommies-to-be! But much more was going on in their growing baby bumps. A craving for the most absurd and unheard of food combinations that quenched the hunger of the soon-to-be celebrity cuties lurked and here is what they craved:

Jay-Z has his work cut out for him as he gets ready to be a first time father to his soon-to-be. But that’s not the only thing he is enduring. According to a source at The Sun, Beyoncé has been eating foods less than desirable to most that would make any person watching sick to their stomach. The stars cravings include: Oreos with gherkins, ice cream treats with hot chili sauce, and bananas dipped in ketchup

Jessica Simpson

Who doesn’t like pizza? Jessica Simpson no longer enjoys the taste of pizza since she began carrying fiancé Eric Johnson’s baby. According to Simpson, pizza has suddenly begun to “taste sour” but there is one thing that quenches her cravings. “I crave cantaloupe like a crazy person,” Simpson told PEOPLE, “but I put salt all over it, so I don’t know if it’s that healthy. I crave anything salty and sweet. That mixture to me is so good. I can eat a whole cantaloupe in one morning.”

Although Britney has already had her fare share of pregnancies and is not in sight of another, at least for the coming months, she craved something different than any concoction that could be made within the comfort of her home; she had to walk outside to get her fix: Dirt.

Nothing less than the Best for Beyoncé, Jay-Z, and their Soon-to-be!

Does it come as any surprise that the hot duo, Beyoncé and Jay-Z already have plans in line to spoil their soon-to-be?  Loving husband and accomplished musician, Jay-Z, really knows how to treat his wife. On Beyonce’s 29th birthday, Jay-Z surprised her with a tropical escape. No, not a cruise or tropical vacation, but a private tropical island, estimated at 20 million dollars.

The couples focus has changed direction for the time being towards their soon-to-be baby-Z and so far the gifts are out of this world! There is word on the street that the super couple is building a nursery the size of the average adult living space. The estimated 2,200-square-foot “room” will not only serve as a nursery, but the babies own private living quarters until he/she decides to move out of mom and dad’s house.

Baby-Z will not only live lavishly but travel in style, too. It has been said that Beyoncé is having a customized Mercedes minivan built to her liking. This 1 million dollar Mercedes will defy the average minivan, equipped with Wi-Fi, DirecTV, stitched Italian leather seats, and a full bathroom with a shower.
