It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia is an American television sitcom that has consumed fans across the nation. The show, created by Rob McElhenney, Charlie Day and Glenn Howerton, depicts the lives of a self-absorbed group of friends who run an unsuccessful Irish bar called Paddy’s Pub in Philly, PA. Aside from taking part in creating and producing the show, Glenn Howard, better known for his character in It’s Always Sunny as Dennis Reynolds, will now be taking part in an entirely new role as a father. He and wife Jill Latiano welcomed their first child this past Monday, September 12th. The birth of their son Miles Robert was announced on Wednesday during Howerton’s appearance on Conan.
Delighted to share the news of new baby boy, Howerton admits he and Jill were left playing the name game last minute. The couple decided it would be best to wait to see the baby before naming him. Unfortunately the first glimpse of his son, Howerton claimed, “looked like a tiny little baby alien grandpa creature.” Their final decision of Miles could not have suited the little baby boy any better. Congratulations Glenn and Jill!
