Kelsey Grammer and wife Kayte Walsh, 32, just announced yesterday, January 15th that they were expecting twins! Grammer, 56, told PEOPLE while backstage at the Golden Globe Awards, “I’m really looking forward to meeting these new arrivals.”
The news of twins came as a shock to the couple. On October 9th, 2010, Grammer announced that Walsh had miscarried. Though Grammer will be working double duty with his new additions, he could not be happier than to work twice as hard with a woman who has his heart. “Kayte is extraordinary,” he says. “She’s one of the most loving, amazing, warm human beings I’ve ever met. She’s funny and serious all at the same time. She’s an amazing person and I think she’ll blow the kids away.”
While talking about being a father to his new duo, Grammer stated, “Fatherhood’s always different, based upon the character(s) that come into your life. They arrive and tell you what you have to do.” This should be interesting for his fifth time around.
