J.Lo and Marc Anthony are feeling the heat. The once hot celebrity duo is finding it difficult to keep their cool when it comes to the custody of their fraternal twins, Emme and Max.
Marc and J.Lo met in 2004 at the recording of a duet for J.Lo’s [then] upcoming movie, “Shall We Dance?” Four days after Marc’s divorce to Dayanara Torres was finalized, he and J.Lo tied the knot on June 5th, 2004 at a private ceremony. Four years later in 2008, the couple announced the arrival of twins Emme and Max.
The image of the perfect family had suddenly been tainted as the rumors began to arise of the couple splitting. Though 2011 marked the year of bigger than life pregnancy announcements, like Jay Z and Beyoncé’s soon-to-be due in early 2012, J.Lo and Marc Anthony could not rekindle the flame that had been lit nearly a decade ago.
Since the split, J.Lo has been seen with heartthrob Bradley Cooper who tantalized women around the world with his part in most recent movies: The Hangover (Part I, II) and Limitless. Her most recent fling, however, is a young backup dancer named Casper Smart.
According to Rebecca Bienstock of Us Weekly magazine, “The original agreement when they split was that J.Lo would have primary custody of the kids, but since this has all come out, Marc is looking to have joint custody.” “Sources close to Jennifer told us that Marc is not that interested in having joint custody of the kids,” she said. “He’s really just using them to get back at her because he’s so angry that she’s moved on.”
