It is not very common for a child to fear the holidays. For most children, the thought of Christmas makes them glow and Halloween festivities mean a never-ending supply of candy. Although there are a select few that fear the big man in red and the scariness of the Halloween scene which is exactly why Romijn took the “cute Halloween” approach since giving birth to her twins Dolly and Charlie, 2 ½.
The Possessing Piper Rose star, 38, told The Talk, “You know how you can go in two different directions for Halloween? Really scary or really cute Halloween…I’m now going really cute Halloween!” What Romijn was unaware of was her daughter Dolly’s fear of pumpkins. She then stated, “All of a sudden Dolly decided that everything Halloween is too scary. She’s been taking all of the pumpkins off the porch and putting them on the side of the house.”
