Lisa Loeb can add mommy-to-two to her list of credentials ranging from singer-songwriter and actress to the founder of her very own eye wear collection as of 2010. The 43-year-old mommy-to-be told PEOPLE that she is excited for her daughter Lyla Rose, 2, to have a sibling– “I grew up with a big family,” she said.
The singer/author and husband Roey Hershkovitz, music production supervisor for Conan, will welcome their second child this coming June, her rep. confirmed to PEOPLE. But the balance of work and parenthood can sometimes be challenging as Loeb explains. “It’s a little bit of a challenge to try to balance my work with my family, but my family comes first,” she said.
Loeb and Hershkovitz tied the knot on January 31st, 2009 and gave birth to their first child Lyla on November 29th of 2009.
