Sarah Drew Welcomes a Boy: Micah Emmanuel Lanfer

Grey’s Anatomy seems to be the talk of the town everywhere you turn lately. With the start of the season comes the start of a new life for Sarah Drew. She and husband Peter Lanfer welcomed a baby boy last night, Wednesday, January 18th at 6:21 p.m.

Her rep. told PEOPLE today, “They are doing very well and are thrilled to welcome to the new baby into their home.”

Last month in an interview with Celebrity Baby Scoop, Sarah shared concerns about bringing her new child into the family. “I had a lot of fear and anxiety about being a parent, about my marriage changing, and about what it would mean to make the sacrifices required to enter into parenthood,” she said.

Congratulations to the Sarah, Peter, and their new addition.

Celebrities Attend a Santa’s Secret Workshop Event to Give Back to the Community

What is Christmas without Santa? On Saturday, December 3rd, 2011 the Andaz Hotel in West Hollywood, California hosted its first-ever Santa’s Secret Workshop for celebrities and VIPs. One can only imagine how beautiful these Christmas photo’s turned out when some of the hottest celebrity couples posed with their children. All proceeds went to a great cause, benefitting L.A. Family Housing during the holiday season. The mission of L.A. Family Housing, better known as (LAFH) is to help families transition out of homelessness and poverty through continuum of housing enriched with supportive services.
Attendees included Spencer Grammer and her 7-week-old son Emmett; Tori Spelling, Tiffani Thiessen, and Sarah Drew from Grey’s Anatomy who is due to give birth at the start of the New Year. Drew told Celebrity Baby Scoop that she is really getting into the spirit of the holidays.
“I’ve been listening to Christmas music since October because I’m sort of obsessed with Christmas. I’ve been talking with my husband and about what kinds of traditions we want to instill and have for our family Christmas traditions,” she said. “It is the best time of the year. I just love it!”

Sarah Drew – Expecting First Child!

Sarah Drew and husband Peter Lanfer are expecting their first child together! Drew plays Eric Dane’s (Dr. McSteamy’s) co-star on the hit ABC show Grey’s Anatomy. While the 30 year old actress is Dr. April Kepner on the show, she is soon to be “Mom” in real life, as she is due in January.

While Eric Dane is also expecting a child with wife Rebecca Gayheart, looks like there will be multiple Grey’s Anatomy stars expanding their family!
