After tying the knot with huband Cory Hardrict in April of 2008 in Santa Barbara, the two announced their pregnancy in January of 2011. This past Tuesday, June 28th in Los Angeles, Tia Mowry and Cory Hardrict welcomed their new baby. As most couples do, Tia and Cory kept the babies name a secret until his birth. Cree Taylor Hardrict, the 8 lb. baby boy has been a long time coming for Tia and twin sister Tamera. Although Tia and Cory are beyond thrilled, Tamera could not be happier to welcome her new nephew. “I think she secretly thinks my son is her son too! I mean, twins share everything, right?” Mowry said jokingly in a recent interview. “She is always kissing, rubbing, patting and hugging my belly.”

Tia will have her hands full this year juggling her new baby and her new reality show with twin sister Tamera. Tia and Tamera will premier this August on the Style Network. Tia Mowry celebrated with a baby shower this past Saturday. The Game star, Tia Mowry and husband Cory Hardrict, are expecting their baby boy to arrive in a few weeks so a big baby shower bash was certainly in order. The shower was held at the London Hotel in West Hollywood on Saturday where twin sister, Tamera Mowry, as well as some other co-stars arrived to celebrate! In an interview with E! News Tia talks about her favorite part of the celebration, “”My favorite part about the shower…I think seeing everybody—all my family, all my friends. I feel so loved…” Her adoring husband Hardrict even made a guest appearance where all the guests welcomed him with applause.

While Mowry is expecting sleepless nights in the near future once the baby arrives, she plans on spending the next couple of weeks catching up on Harry Potter movies while she is on bed rest. She is a bit apprehensive about her future of less sleep “Sleep is very precious to me,” Tia says, “I love to sleep. That is the one main thing that I’m very scared about, and what people don’t know is that when you’re breastfeeding and when you’re pregnant, you can’t take any stimulants. So you can’t do coffee, you can’t do 5-hour ENERGY drinks, so you’re basically pulling your energy out of a hat! Someway, somehow.”
Her due date is July 3rd and while we know the sex of the baby, she is keeping quiet about the selected name. We look forward to finding out on the arrival of the little boy!
