It’s been a few months since Brooke Shields has given birth to her second daughter, Grier.  The model and actress mom had previously been publicly ridiculed by Tom Cruise for taking medication for post-partum depression after the birth of her first daughter, Rowan.  Tom has since apologized to Brooke.  One wonders if Katie had taken her vitamin C suppliments like Doc Tom had suggested to Brooke?

It has recently been reported that along with enduring the bout of depression after Rowan’s birth, Rowan was afflicted with hip dysplasia.  After wearing the necessary brace for a few months, corrects the situation and these babies do well.  After all of this, Brooke seems to be doing fine these days and hopefully has helped numerous other moms who have been afflicted with post-partum depression.  Kudos for Brooke on speaking out about the depression and standing up for mom’s everywhere!
