Actress Kate Beckinsale told Britains OK! Magazine that becoming a mother has made her less selfish. Kate went on to say she used to be consumed with her career before the birth of her seven year old daughter Lily with ex Michael Sheen. Being a parent has now changed her priorities. "Acting is an inherently selfish profession when you are constantly looking for better roles. Being a mother is also a very consuming role. You need to put your child's needs above yours and place less focus on yourself." Kate is best known for her role in 'Pearl Harbour' and her newest movie 'Click'.
