Kids Say The Darnest Things
7 11 2006
In a recent interview with France's Elle magazine, Jude Law was asked "How your children live to your notoriety?" He answered, "It is funny. The other day, a child psychologist said to me that today almost all children want one thing: to be famous. However, mine, is the reverse. my 10 year old son (Rafferty), who is very gifted in music, even said to me recently, "Dad, I want to be a musician in a Rock-n-Roll group, but I really want to remain anonymous."
Jude, 33, has children Rafferty, 10, Iris, 6, and Rudy, 4 with ex-wide Sadie Frost. He was recently romantically linked to Sienna Miller, until he cheated on her with the nanny.

Poor Rafferty has already experienced the downside of celebrity. Of course he has wealthy parents and a high standard of living (and probably takes that for granted like most kids do) but he also has to put up with strange men following him to school, lurking behind bushes and trying to take his photograph, and then all his school mates knowing all about his parents personal lives. Not to mention every family outing being disrupted by photographers or by intrusive fans (no matter how well-intentioned).
That’s a lot of pressure for a young boy. I’m not surprised he would rather guard his privacy.
