People magazine reports that actress Connie Nielson and Metallica drummer Lars Ulrich, 42, are expecting their first child together! The couple have been dating for about two years.

Nielsen's rep, Joy Limanon, says the baby is due in the early summer and "they are ecstatic."

Nielsen, 42, has appeared as Detective Dani Beck on NBC's Law & Order: Special Victims Unit. She costarred with Russell Crowe in Gladiator.

Both have children from previous marriages. Connie has a 16-year-old son, Sebastian, and Lars has two sons Myles, 8, and Layne, 5.
