People reports the twin girls were born on Thursday morning. Kim Porter gave birth to the first little girl at 7:56 a.m. weighing 5 lbs. Her sister followed 2 minutes later weighing 5 lbs., 4 oz. Diddy was in Toronto filming Raisin in the Sun, but had a plane on standby and made it just in the nick of time. Sean's rep, Robert Zimmerman, said "Both Kim and the girls are doing great."

Zimmerman also said that Porter and Diddy have named their precious girls after two people who had a huge influence on both their lives, 5 lb., D'Lila Star Combs was named after Porter's grandmother, Lila Star. Her 5 lb. 4 oz. sister, Jessie James Combs, was named after Diddy's grandmother, Jessie Smalls.
