Carmen Noel Canales was born on Christmas day to Olympic gold-winning gymnast Dominique Moceanu and her husband, Dr. Michael Canales. Carmen weighed 7 lbs., 7 oz. upon delivery and measured 18.5 inches.

According to People, mother and baby are doing well and are now home. Dominique added, "The miracle of baby Carmen being born on Christmas Day makes this wonderful time all the more special to us. This is the best Christmas present we could have ever received!"

The happy couple told People in a recent article that they were very excited to start a family and it was a dream come true that Dominique was pregnant.

Gwen Stefani, whose 19-month-old son is one of the cutest, most adorable celeb tots, wants to give Kingston a playmate. Stefani and hubby, Gavin Rossdale are reported to be eager to hop back on the baby bandwagon.

The scandal-free couple was spotted out at a Japanese restaurant in the Soho district of London, England yesterday, sharing dinner with friends. According to reports, Gwen and Gavin have been “trying very hard” to naturally conceive a second child, with no luck so far. 

“I pray that I can have another baby.  I mean, it’s such a miracle to have one,” says the 37-year-old singer. Stefani adds that if they are unsuccessful at conceiving naturally, they might adopt. The pair have reportedly “looked both nationally and internationally for the right adoption agency.”

Come next year, all pregnant women in New Jersey will be screened for HIV infection.

The Washington Post is reporting that a bill was signed into law on Wednesday, requiring pregnant women to take two HIV tests at the start of their pregnancy and again near the end, unless the mother objects. If she does object, the newborn will then be tested for HIV, with the only exception being on religious grounds. Newborns will also be tested if the woman tests positive.

Lynne and Jamie Spears are apparently being punished by their daughter for 'forcing' her into rehab last year. Lynne Spears' decision to keep Britney out of the loop regarding her sister's pregnancy probably tipped Brit over the edge….wait a minute, she can't fall any farther, can she?

To her ex's credit, K-Fed reportedly chewed Britney out over the phone for her characteristically selfish behavior. “Kevin told her to stop acting like a spoiled brat,” the insider added. “He asked her to give them to him and he would let them open them.”

Joseph Simmons, a/k/a Run D-M-C, now Reverend Run of MTV's Run's House, is thrilled to welcome a new baby girl into his family. Run and wife Justine adopted Miley Justine Simmons in September. Miley was 1-month old when she joined the clan.

The family suffered the traumatic and heartbreaking loss of their first daughter, Victoria Anne in September 2006. Justine felt she couldn't go through with another pregnancy but she really wanted a little girl. So despite naysayers, they decided to adopt Miley as part of the healing process.

“People say, 'You need to mourn,' and you do, but only a little because the more you mourn, the more you want to mourn. I would have landed in depression,” Justine says.

Reverend Run is ecstatic. “It's heaven to have this baby come into our house at this time, at Christmas,” he declared.

When you've got lots of major developments in your life, Christmas shopping can get put on the back burner.

British songstress Lily Allen, who announced her pregnancy last week, was spotted around London doing some last minute Holiday shopping. The 22 year old Allen was accompanied by her baby's daddy, Ed Simons from the Chemical Brothers.

An insider told the Daily Star that the singer's upcoming album is still in its very early stages. But Allen's rep insists that her career will continue. “Lily’s new album will be released as planned next year,” the rep says.

But another source says the unexpected pregnancy may change Allen's plans.

“Nobody wants Lily to put her health at risk or substitute time with her partner and baby for work. She wants to bring the album out before she gives birth, but that doesn’t seem realistic. The best thing would be to put the album on hold. Her record company will support her all the way,” says the source.

I guess it's only logical that a sixteen year old would find herself starring in a celebrity babies blog, if that teenager is a relative of Britney Spears. The Drama Queen/Train Wreck Spears sisters seem to be battling neck and neck to outskank each other.

Star magazine is reporting that the baby's daddy is not Casey Aldridge, as Little Miss Spears has claimed. Instead, friends and family of the knocked up think the real baby daddy is an older executive at her children’s TV show ‘Zoey 101′ who would face statutory rape charges if his identity was revealed.

In Jamie Lynn’s home state of Louisiana, Casey would escape charges because a 16-year-old can legally have sex with someone less than two years older than her. Casey reportedly falls under the bar by 26 days. The magazine claims that Casey is being paid off to be the fall guy and to keep the true father's identity from the public.

“The man many suspect is the father….would face charges and probably prison time if he were to come forward and admit he had sex with her,” Star magazine states. The magazine quotes “two separate Spears family insiders” who believe the father is someone who works on Jamie Lynn’s kids’ show.

Jamie Lynn has dated Aldridge on and off over the past two years. He recently posted on his own MySpace that he was feeling “blah” about his love life, and added: “Me and Jamie are over…”

Heidi Klum took her and Seal's two-year-old son, Henry out for a bit of last minute Christmas shopping in Aspen over the weekend.

An onlooker describes the warmfuzzy scene: “On their way through town, Henry spotted some balloons attached to a sandwich board on the street. He wanted one and Heidi kept him happy by tearing a balloon off for him.”

Expectant parents, Nicole Richie and boyfriend Joel Madden hosted a treat for kids at Paramount Studios in Lost Angeles on Saturday under the auspices of their Richie Madden Children's Foundation.

POPSUGAR reports that Richie/Madden feted 200 homeless kids from Beyond Shelter, an organization that works with the homeless population of LA. The kids got teddy bears and new shoes, did face painting and took pics with Santa.

"We want to do much more to address the homeless issue, especially where it puts children at risk. But for now, we can at least try to help them have a merry Christmas by giving them teddy bears and getting them fitted for shoes. That's something we can do right now, today," new social activist, Nicole, declared.

Seems Jennifer Garner is always out and about in NYC with her mini-me, Violet! Here she is taking a leisurely stroll through the streets with fellow celeb mom, Keri Russel, and her son River.
