Update: The New York Daily News has just posted this pic of Britney right before she passed out. What do you think? The New York Post is claiming that Britney Spears fainted after hosting the New Year's Eve bash at Pure Nightclub in Caesars Palace in Sin City.

Spears' manager, Larry Rudolph, insisted that alcohol did not play a part in the incident and that she was just worn out from a hard day's work.

"By about 1 o'clock, she was just done, so we took her out. She was not drunk. She was just tired and falling asleep." he said. "She's fine. She had just been traveling all day. She got real tired. It was a late night for her," he said.

But an onlooker at Pure said that the 25-year-old mom of two had been swinging back pineapple rum cocktails with champagne when she collapsed shortly after midnight.

"She had a little too much to drink," a Pure source told the Review Journal. "She was assisted out, but she was not carried."

Witnesses say Britney was talking with one of her male dancers on a tented cabana bed when she said she wanted to leave, stood up and "she went into a dead faint and just fell right to the floor." Rumor has it the group pulled her onto the bed and called security to "get her out as quickly as possible."

One woman in Spears' entourage yelled, "Make sure nobody gets any photos. No photos anywhere." But Rudolph said Spears left the club on her own two feet and did not seek medical attention. He also said "There is nothing out of the ordinary here."

Rudolph claims that after a day of traveling with her two children, Jayden James, 3 months, Sean Preston, 1, Britney was merely wiped out from the long day.
