More than a week after her death, Anna Nicole is still making headlines.  This weekend, her body was finally embalmed, thanks to the Ft. Lauderdale judge who is trying to move the circus along.  Hopefully she'll be put to rest next to her son in the Bahamas.  But if her mama has her way, she'll bury her in Texas.  The woman has spent her life getting out of Texas, but how ironic it would be her final resting place is in Texas. 

On another note, Shane Gibson, the Bahamas official who assisted Anna Nicole in her residency issue has resigned his post over the photos that appeared in the local newspaper shortly after her death.  Pictures materialized, probably stolen from her home, which depicted Gibson and Smith in clothes embraces on her bed.  Although he vehemently denies any hanky panky, he decided it would be best to step down from his government post because of the embarrassment this may have caused to his country.

Finally, I just read the affidavit from Dannielyn's former nanny, which was obtained by the industrious folks at TMZ.com.  It's pretty disturbing if it is true.  It was dated Dec. 4th, 2006.  According to Quethlie Alexis, the former nanny, Anna Nicole was underfeeding Dannielyn to keep her "sexy" and that Smith attempted suicide twice while Alexis was employed by her.  She also claims that Smith said she would "shoot" her if they baby ever addressed Alexis as mummy.  She claims to also have overheard Howard K. Stern tell Anna Nicole after reviving her from her drowning attempt, that if they found her dead he would be arrested.  The nanny was unceremoniously fired when Smith couldn't located the instructions for the new washing machine and blamed Alexis for misplacing them.  All I have to say is poor Dannielyn.  By the way, can anyone find the correct spelling of this little baby's name, I've seen it spelled numerous different ways…
