Terri Hatcher would rather be home with her 9 year old daughter Emerson then working.

"I'm really clear about my priority in my life – it's being a mom. I have enough difficult balancing doing the show for ten and a half months with being a mom the way I want to be," Hatcher tells the UK's Easy Living magazine.

She took five years off when her daughter was a baby and she still wants to be home with her. She is such an awesome mother! She will still work but being a mom comes first and work has to revolve around that. She's not leaving Desperate Housewives anytime soon.
