Pulling Together For Britney

8 03 2007

Britney Spears and Kevin Federline's families were never as close as they are now. Kevin, his mother, and Britney's mom, Lynne, are getting closer while they take care of the couple's two boys, Sean Preston and Jayden James and help Britney to sobriety.

Federline tells People, "Everyone is making comments how sad it is that it took this to get everyone together. There was a lot of distance between the families but it seems now they all have a common goal, which is to help Britney get better."

The pop star has been in Promises rehab for about a month and has emerged from there two times but only to go to Alcoholics Anonymous classes. While she was out she looked clear-eyed and happy. There had been speculation that Spears may be suffering from post partum depression and Brooke Shields stepped up and said she would talk to her anytime. Even music producer, Timbaland, said he would like to work with her once she is better.

It's nice to see that people are out there to help her in her time of need!
