Sheryl Crow announced on her website that she adopted a 2-week-old boy. According to her rep, the child was born in the United States.

His first name is Wyatt after her father and his middle name Steven, after both her younger brother Steven Crow and manager Steven "Scooter" Weintraub.

"We are enjoying some very private family time," Crow wrote. "She's just going to take some time off to be a mom."

Sheryl and Lance Armstong split up back in February of 2006. She was also diagnosed with breast cancer the same month. She has since beat the cancer and now she is looking for "a cowboy."
