Bindi Walking In Her Father’s Footsteps

There was controversy after the death of Steve Irwin, "The Crocodile Hunter", whether his 8-year-old daughter would take over the family business. Steve had tragic accident about nine months ago when he got struck by a stingray and died.

According to TMZ, she will continue on with her father's work. Her mother and Steve's wife, Terri announced the upcoming "Bindi: Jungle Girl" series. Bindi says "The best part, I get to be with all my animal friends!"

Appearing in a tree house at the Australia Zoo, Terri said, "I think he would have said `Crikey mate, I couldn't wait for Bindi to take over."

Steve had tragic accident about nine months ago when he got struck by a stingray and died. Terri answers criticism like this, "Bindi has been filming with us since she first hatched, it was a natural progression for her to be doing her own shows."
