In 2005, David Letterman's son was in danger of being kidnapped. His son was just an infant then when Kelly A. Frank, a painter at Letterman's Montana ranch, was arrested on charges that he was conspiring to kidnap him. This weekend, Kelly escaped from Montana State Prison at Deer Lodge Valley. There has been no sign of him since.

According to TMZ, he escaped with a fellow inmate, 22-year-old William Willcutt. Reports say that they fled in a truck and cops say that he may be armed.

Letterman must be vamping up on the security since this happened. Frank was supposed to serve 10 years in the prison for felony theft and misdemeanor obstruction. The kidnapping charge was dropped before he pleaded guilty to those charges. I hope that the family stays safe until they catch this guy.
