Don’t Tell The Public

Britney Spears and Kevin Federline were in court Tuesday morning fighting to keep the custody battle between them a secret. They don't want the public involved in legal matters regarding their children.
According to Us Magazine, an attorney representing various media outlets objected to K-Fed's lawyer's request to seal the records relating to his August 8 filing which requested that the court grant Federline primary custody of sons. The attorney said "if public court business is conducted in private, it becomes impossible to expose corruption, incompetence, inefficiency, prejudice, and favoritism."
K-Fed's attorney, Mark Vincent Kaplan, said in court today that "Anytime you have a case with a minor child it is important that the children be protected."
He went on to explain that "Kevin is convinced that the more time he spends with the kids the more insulated they are from risk." K-Fed had Britney's Spears' best friend, Ali Simms, subpoenaed to testify at the custody hearing. He wants to do whatever he needs to do to protect his kids Jaden James, 11 months, and Sean Preston, 23 months.
