Britney Spears just can't keep herself out of trouble. She was cleared from dog abuse after the SPCA investigated her dog's fractured leg. And on Monday, there was an unscheduled hearing over custody of her children with Kevin Federline and her former manager, Larry Rudolph. The hearing was about Larry avoiding being subpoenaed in the custody trial.

Now according to TMZ, Britney is being investigated for child abuse. This girl is on a roll! An unscheduled hearing was held today at L.A. County Superior Court. TMZ was told that the L.A. County Department of Children and Family Services is conducting an active investigation into this.

There will be a follow-up to today's hearing on September 4th and regarding the custody battle.
