Pavarotti Died At Age 71

Luciano Pavarotti, the voice of Opera, died Wednesday night. He was 71-years-old. He was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer a year ago and it took his life that night at his home in Modena, Italy.According to Extra, his manager released this statement: “The Maestro fought a long, tough battle against the pancreatic cancer which eventually took his life. In fitting with the approach that characterized his life and work, he remained positive until finally succumbing to the last stages of his illness.”Pavarotti is worth $250 million even after a $100 million divorce settlement from his first wife. He sold over 100 million records in his 40-year career as a tenor.He is survived by his wife Nicoletta, who is 34 years younger then him, and their four-year-old daughter Alice.
