25 year old LeAnn Rimes has wanted to be a mommy since she was 13. She told Redbook magazine in the October issue that having children is a topic of discussion between her and her husband dancer Dean Sheremet.

She does have fears about childbirth so the couple may end up adopting. However, they are not rushing and may not try for a child for a few years yet. "I'm a little freaked out by it," she tells the magazine. "But when I met Dean – I know how compassionate he is about children. So now I want to have a child of ours. I might love being pregnant – you never know. I'm keeping a very open mind about the whole thing. But I do want children, definitely. That's part of my life I don't want to miss out on, and I have a lot of love to give that way. I can't wait."

Although she is unsure about pregnancy, she knows that she made the right decision in marrying Dean 5 years ago.

LeAnn's 10th studio album Family will be out in October.
