Men are lucky…no matter how old they are, whenever the paternal urge strikes them, they can act on it.

Well, Chris Noth (a/k/a/ 'Mr. Big' on Sex and the City) heard the call of fatherhood and he did answer. At 53, he's set to become a dad for the first time.

AP news reports that Noth and his girlfriend, actress Tara Wilson, are expecting a little bundle of joy (no word on when, exactly).

Noth, who plays Detective Mike Logan on the TV show "Law & Order: Criminal Intent," is set to star in the upcoming "Sex and the City" movie.

P.S. This union is sparking much controversy on blog sites…and you wouldn't imagine why! Because Wilson just so happens to be African-American!
