Looks like the charity bug is catching. 

Brad Pitt was in New Orleans Monday with six-year-old son Maddox to launch a fundraiser under his “Make it Right” foundation. The actor has pledged a cool five mil towards the building of 150 affordable and sustainable homes in the Katrina-ravaged Lower Ninth Ward.

The Brangelina clan will be spending Christmas in the city, which sustained the worst natural disaster in American history. They bought a $3.5 million mansion in the French Quarter last January.
