Expectant parents, Nicole Richie and boyfriend Joel Madden hosted a treat for kids at Paramount Studios in Lost Angeles on Saturday under the auspices of their Richie Madden Children's Foundation.

POPSUGAR reports that Richie/Madden feted 200 homeless kids from Beyond Shelter, an organization that works with the homeless population of LA. The kids got teddy bears and new shoes, did face painting and took pics with Santa.

"We want to do much more to address the homeless issue, especially where it puts children at risk. But for now, we can at least try to help them have a merry Christmas by giving them teddy bears and getting them fitted for shoes. That's something we can do right now, today," new social activist, Nicole, declared.
