Actress Eva Longoria and her athlete hubby, Tony Parker, are "practicing" like mad to in a bid to leap on board the packed-to-capacity celebrity baby bandwagon.

And when they book their seats, they'll be "singing it from the rooftops," she insists. "We've got big families. I can't wait and we're practicing a lot. But I'm not pregnant," says the Desperate Housewives star.

Will her pregnancy be written into the show?

Actress Mary Lynn Rajskub, who plays the quirky computer tech Chloe on FOX's "24," is pregnant with her first child.

The 36-year-old and her personal-trainer boyfriend, Matthew Rolph, 27, are expecting the baby at the end of summer.

"With the strike going on, I had to keep busy!" Mary tells PEOPLE magazine. "We are thrilled and couldn't be more excited."

Jennifer Lopez is reportedly wading through applications for the title of godparent to her unborn twins.

Swamped with requests from celebrities, the 38-year-old singer has decided to "audition" the applicants to test their suitability for the role. JLo's close friend, actress Leah Remini, says she and husband, Angelo Pagan, "asked for an audition for godparent roles, so at the moment we are waiting to hear back." "We need about a day to prepare though," she adds. 

Other contenders include Spice Girls singer, Victoria Beckham and Elaine Goldsmith-Thomas, producer of JLo's 2002 film 'Maid in Manhattan'. Goldsmith-Thomas recently hosted a luxurious baby shower for Lopez at New York's Gramercy Park Hotel.

Actor Ethan Hawke is staring fatherhood in the eye once more. In Touch magazine reveals that Hawke, 37, and girlfriend Ryan Shawhughes, 28, are expecting a baby. The 'pal' who leaked the info to the mag issued the standard statement about the expectant parents feelings at this time: “They are over the moon.” 

Shawhughes worked as a nanny for Hawke and then-wife, Uma Thurman, before the couple divorced in 2003. Hawke and Thurman have two children, Maya, 9, and Levon, 6.

These belly-bump boasting celebs should really give it a rest when it comes to trying to cover up pregnancy details. Cause whatever the information is, it's going to get leaked, whether by parents, in-laws, 'unnamed inside sources'/paid friends or relatives, or loose-lipped store clerks.

Take for instance, the sex of Jessica Alba's unborn child, which she already knows, but wasn't telling when she appeared on Late Night with David Letterman earlier this week. 

Sorry, Jess, but the world is now privy to the news that you're expecting a boy.  The Daily News reports that Alba bought nautical-themed furniture in the baby store to the stars, L.A.'s Petit Tresor. On the way out, she reportedly grabbed a blue onesie that read "I'm a Boy."

P.S. To Gwen: The belly-bump camouflage is a bit much. Why????

Actress Tichina Arnold, who plays mom Rochelle on the sitcom Everyone Hates Chris, thinks her three-year-old daughter, Alijah Kai, is destined for greatness. Of course, most moms believe that of their kids. But little Alijah already shows a lot of promise, according to her mom.

"She's into dancing and just joined Debbie Allen's Academy for dance and Debbie loves her. My daughter is definitely going to be in the arts and surpass anything I ever achieved," Arnold tells Essence magazine. According to the actress, Alijah is "3 going on 30".

"She asked me the other day, 'Mom can I say ass?' I'm like, 'No you can't, it's a bad word. 'Then she says, 'Well can I sing it?'. I'm like, 'No you can't sing it, hum it, think it or speak it.'

Alijah is so adorable, it wouldn't surprise us if she achieves stardom in childhood!

Proud Papa-in-the-making, actor Matthew McConaughey, 38, wants to keep riding the roller coaster of anticipation he's been on since learning the happy baby news. So he doesn't want to learn the sex of his unborn child.

It's reported that the star of 'Fool's Gold,' whose girlfriend, Camila Alves, is 12 weeks along, wants to remain in the dark, as he fears that finding out the gender of the baby would ruin the excitement of first-time fatherhood.

"We want to keep the suspense as high as possible," McConaughey says. "I'm looking forward to the big adventure! One thing I've heard that's consistent is, 'whatever plans you make, throw them out the window!'"

Unlike a lot of the knocked-up celebs, JLo has picked out names for her babies: Max and Emme.

Star magazine is reporting that the Latina singer's mom, Guadalupe, was spotted picking up two gold-rope ID bracelets engraved with those names from Genesis Jewelers in Yorktown Heights, N.Y.  The proud grandma-to-be was overheard telling the clerk the names.

While it seems every other nubile celebrity races to reel in the stork, Kill Bill star Vivica Fox won't be hanging up a 'womb for rent' sign–ever.

The unlucky-in-love actress says she doesn't plan to conceive and is instead considering adoption, because she doesn't want a child to remind her of a soured romance. Fox split from ex-husband, Christopher Harvest and subsequently dated rapper 50 Cent, but that relationship, too, went bust.

Fox, 43, says she is yet to be convinced of the merits of reproduction. "I haven't met anybody that I want to be reminded of. You gotta think about that for 18 years because, more than likely, you, as a woman, you're gonna be stuck raising the kids, she says. "Knowing me, I'd have a baby by somebody I can't stand and he'd (baby) look just like him (boyfriend). "It'd be like, 'Damn, here you come again today…' You don't want to take it out on the child."

Fox says she is now considering adoption because she thinks she would make a wonderful mother. "I've gotten a little old to be walking around pregnant (but) I'd make a wonderful mom. I'm good with kids. I love kids. It's just that (pregnancy) hasn't happened in my life," she says.

Could Miss Viv be feeling a little left out? Adopt, honey, adopt! There are far too many kids needing homes.

 Yes, it's official…another celebrity belly bump watch is underway. Gwen Stefani has made good on her promise to give Kingston a sibling before it was too late and is now 13 weeks along. Congratulations! Another beautiful celeb tot set to debut in July, along with Nicole Kidman/Keith Urban's little bundle of joy.

The 38-year-old No Doubt singer's pregnancy was confirmed by her father-in-law. The elder Rossdale told PEOPLE: "we are very much looking forward to another grandchild."

Stefani and British-born Rossdale, 40, wed in London in September 2002 and produced one of the most adored and adorable kids in showbiz. Kingston Rossdale turns 2 on May 26. Stefani has described Kingston as a "chilled-out little guy. He's just like another person, except that he's super-cute and super-entertaining."

There's another little Dixie chicklette on the way.

Martie Maguire, one third of the Dixie Chicks, is expecting baby number 3 with husband Gareth. She confirmed the pregnancy to PEOPLE in Texas yesterday.

"I'm very excited," says Maguire."We know what it is - it's a girl."

The little chicklette will join twin girls Kathleen Emilie and Eva Ruth, who were born in 2004. "Carrying one instead of two will be much easier," Maquire joked.

These Hollywood types never seem to take a breather from making babies! An Academy Award might elude them, but the stork sure won't!

Congratulations to  Fred Savage and wife, Jennifer Stone. The 31-year-old actor told PEOPLE at Saturday's 60th annual Directors Guild of America Awards in L.A: "We've "got number two cooking right now." The baby is due in May and mommy says she wants the baby's sex to be a surprise.

Savage and Stone married in Aug. 2004 and welcomed their first child, son Oliver, in Aug. 2006.

Menopause…growing fetus…surely doctors can tell the difference, right? Maybe not. Just ask Amanda Morgan.

The BBC reports that the 40-year-old UK woman gave birth to 5lb 6oz Caitlin seven hours after being told by a doctor that she was starting menopause.  The legal secretary, who already had two sons aged 13 and 10 from a previous relationship, says the baby was a complete surprise.

"I'd had no morning sickness or tiredness and had absolutely no bump at all. I'm 40 and had decided not to have any more children. I thought my baby-making days were long gone. I had only put on about a pound in weight but just thought I'd been snacking too much in the run-up to Christmas," she says.

Morgan gave birth within minutes of breaking the news to her partner Chris Grinter, 42, of the menopause diagnosis. She returned home after the appointment and complained of feeling "exhausted." After going to the bathroom, Morgan says she felt a "crippling pain".

"There was no time to even shout out to Chris - it was that quick. "A strange calm took over and with one push Caitlin was out. She barely cried, just wriggled. "I grabbed a towel and wrapped her in it. I was in a state of shock but also quite calm."

She said her partner's "face went white" when he saw the baby. Grinter called the paramedics, who arrived to cut the cord as Morgan lay in the bathroom. They were taken to Singleton Hospital, Swansea, and she was told she was six months into her pregnancy when Caitlin was born. The baby was in a ventilator and allowed home after five weeks.

Sue Jacobs of the Royal College of Midwives said: "This is only the third time I've come across one like this in my 25 years as a midwife. But women do occasionally experience what seem like periods in pregnancy. In such cases it's because the bleeding is caused by the placenta and just happens to coincide with period dates," she states. 

Does irresponsibility run in the Spears' genes? Is that a rhetorical question?

Jamie Lynn Spears has stolen the spotlight from Britney for a minute by sparking fears for the safety of her unborn child. According to Life & Style magazine, Jamie Lynn has been burning the candle at both ends with late nights out, with reckless disregard for the health and safety of her 4 1/2-month-old fetus.

“Her mom and dad are both worried that Jamie’s late-night partying isn’t good for her — or her child,” says an insider. The “Zoey 101” star evidently pays no mind to her mom and "continues to break every rule Lynne makes–and there are no consequences,” claims a family friend. There are even speculations that Jamie Lynn might still be smoking and drinking.

It's quite possible that Jamie Lynn might not be too concerned with the prospect of a miscarriage. Such a pity. Three words: Condoms, condoms, condoms!

We at CB.I wish a speedy recovery to little James Alexander Philip Theo, the Viscount Severn. The five-week-old tyke, son of Prince Edward and Sophie, the Earl and Countess of Wessex, was hospitalized for tests after suffering what is believed to be a minor allergic reaction.

James was born at Frimley Park hospital in Surrey last month weighing 6lb and 2oz. He is the eighth grandchild of the Queen and the Duke of Edinburgh. The couple have a four-year-old daughter, Lady Louise Windsor, who was born by emergency Caesarean.
