Desperate Housewives actress, Eva Longoria, has been 'persuaded' to put off any pregnancy plans for at least a year.

The gentle arm-twisting has come from Longoria's boss, DH creator, Marc Cherry. Cherry reportedly told Longoria that she cannot get pregnant in real life because there will be no pregnancy for her character. I suppose he wants to avoid the credibility issues that arise when actresses are forced to stand behind pillows, purses, sofas and the like while trying to film around a belly bump.

Longoria doesn't seem to mind the infringement on her and hubby Tony Parker's personal life. Her response? “We’re fine with that. We want to spend some time with each other, even though we want kids very much.”
