Congrats to Poppy Montgomery and her boyfriend, actor Adam Kaufman, on their early Christmas present. Their son, Jackson Phillip Kaufman, was born in Los Angeles Dec. 23. He tipped the scales at 7 lbs. 4 oz.

The Without a Trace star's rep told PEOPLE magazine that the couple are "over the moon."

"This was the best Christmas present Poppy and Adam could have hoped for. Both she and the baby are doing wonderfully."

It's the first child for the couple, who have been together for three years. Montgomery's pregnancy had been written into the crime drama, with her character becoming pregnant after a one night stand with a bartender, played by her real-life baby's daddy.
