It's said that cigarettes are as addictive, if not more so, than crack cocaine. Lily Allen might agree.

The British singer, who had a pack-a-day habit prior to learning of her pregnancy, is trying desperately to quit for the health of her unborn child. She is now reportedly turning to hypnotherapy for assistance.

Allen is said to have sought the services of top Harley Street guru Susan Hepburn, who helped the singer lose weight by training her mind to avoid fatty foods.

A pal of Lily’s told The Sun newspaper: “She realises it will be a struggle but her baby is more important. Lily is aware that she is a role model and wants to portray a positive image of herself for young people to look up to.”

The singer is expecting her first child with boyfriend, Ed Simons of the Chemical Brothers.
