Halle Gets Nervous
17 01 2008As the March due date creeps up for her 'geriatric' delivery (yes, that's what they call pregnancy at 41!) Halle Berry is being overwhelmed by nervousness. The radiant mom-to-be reportedly believes that childbirth is more nerve-wracking than awaiting the winners' announcements at the Academy Awards.
Berry's doctors have warned her that she needs to be carefully monitored due to her diabetes, which can cause complications during labor.
"I'm worried about giving birth. I've been pretty cool about my pregnancy up until lately, but suddenly I'm realizing that there's a baby that's got to come out and someone is going to have to be there to push it out," she tells the British magazine Reveal.
"Emotionally, I'm a bit of a mess. Besides all the hormones bubbling and boiling inside me, the anticipation is starting to get to me. I'm more nervous now than I was during the Oscars."
Berry was a blubbering mess after her name was announced as the winner of the Best Actress award in 2002, so get that baby an umbrella, stat!
