Scrubs star, John C. McGinley, 48, and wife, Nichole Kessler, welcomed their first child together, a baby girl named Billie Grace, early Saturday morning.

Handily for the couple, mom happens to be a doula, or birthing assistant, as well as a yoga instructor. She popped out 8 lb., 21-inch Billie Grace in the comfort of the couple's home, in a birthing tub, with a midwife by her side. We reckon it must have gone extremely smoothly.

Billie is the actor's second child, joining son Max, 10, from his first marriage. Max served as best man at the couple's wedding in April.
