The Spice Girls’ only childless member, Melanie Chisholm, wants to change her status to mom. She’s been inspired by the relationships between her bandmates and their kids and is keen to start making babies of her own.

“Sporty Spice” and her partner, Tom Starr are hankering to hop aboard the standing-room-only celebrity baby train after hanging with her bandmates and their families during their recent reunion tour.

“Being backstage at the shows with the girls and all the kids made me think, ‘Yeah I could be a good mum,’ says Mel. “I used to say giving them (the children) back was the best bit, but seriously, all the girls are great mums… and they have given me the confidence to have a go.”

Bandmate, Victoria Beckham is mother to Brooklyn, 7, Romeo, 5, and Cruz, 3; Melanie Brown has two daughters, Phoenix Chi, 9, and Angel Iris, 1; Geri Halliwell gave birth to Bluebell Madonna in 2006; and Emma Bunton is mum to baby Beau, seven months.
