Lleyton Hewitt, Australian tennis champ, will become a dad for the second time. His wife Bec Hewitt, 24, is due in January. According to People, their daughter Mia Rebecca, 2, is very excited about becoming a sister.

Yes it’s time for another trial between Britney Spears and Kevin Federline. The ex-couple keep fighting over the custody of their two children, Jayden, 1 1/2, and Preston, 2 1/2.

Recently Britney was granted overnight custody of the children. This gives her three days a week with the overnight priviledges. However, the current arrangement is not good enough for one of the parties involved so a trial will be starting on Aug. 25th to resolve it. This is the final hearing for at least a few years.

“It’s very likely both Britney and Kevin will testify in a trial,” says L.A. family lawyer Lynn Soodik, who’s not involved with the case, to People. “Britney has to show the court that she’s improved as a mother.” She also said that it is possible that either of them can settle out of court before the hearing.

The new show on NBC is turning young couples into parents or not so much. There are ten young couples (18-20) who want to live together and to do that they want to have children. The new show Baby Borrowers is a reality show that is designed to show young couples just how it is to be a parent.

Over a 3 week span, the couples are set up in a home, have to get a job and become caring parents first to babies, toddlers (in their “terrible twos” ), pre-teens and their pets, teenagers and senior citizens. The couples volunteer for the show and then are moved into an apartment in Boise, Idaho.

They have to attend pre-natal classes as each “mother” wears a simulated “empathy” belly to prepare them for the arrival of their “baby.” They are under 24-hour supervision by nannies and the real parents who are stationed next door, watching via monitor, and able to step in at any time. Plus, one teen from each of the couples must start a job, ranging from working in a local vet’s office to a lumberyard, leaving the other alone as caregiver for the day.

This is a pretty cool concept for young couples who think that life is a piece of cake and that they can handle anything. Hopefully, they learn some good life lessons.

Jodie Sweetin, aka Stephanie Tanner of Full House, recently talked about her addiction to crystal meth and her life now as a mother to a 7-week-old daughter.

“I’m very lucky to have made it through to the other side,” she says to People. “[There are days] that I don’t think about it at all. It’s always there, but it’s not looming over my head like it was.”

Jody kept her addiction a secret, even from her cop husband! However, she realized the problem and checked herself into rehab for 6 months. They did end up divorcing but now she is married to Cody Herpin, a film transportation coordinator.

Now, 26 years old, Jodie is a mother to a 7-week-old daughter named Zoie. “You look at your baby and think, ‘Wow, I did that.’ It’s really amazing,” she told People. “I’m still like, ‘Oh, wow, I’m a mom.’ It’s the most overwhelming, exciting thing I’ve ever done.”

Tori Spelling and her husband Dean McDermott welcomed a baby girl on June 9th. They named her Stella Doreen McDermott. Doreen is Dean’s late mother’s name. She delivered the baby via c-section. She weighed six pounds, eight ounces.
