Celebrities join the efforts of the March of Dimes to give every baby a healthy start in life. The Celebration of Babies is being held on Saturday, September 27, 2008 at The Beverly Hilton in Beverly Hills, CA. This stylish event will start at 10:30am. There will be a boutique and silent auction reception. As mentioned all proceeds go to the March of Dimes mission to improve the health of babies by preventing birth defects, premature birth, and infant mortality. The event will also recognize prominent individuals who are celebrating the birth of their children and who are role models for March of Dimes commitment to love and hope for healthy babies.

Jennie Garth from the new 90210 will be hosting the event this year. Other attending celebrity parents and parents-to-be include: A. J. Cook, Criminal Minds; Diane Farr, Numb3rs; Melissa Joan Hart, Sabrina The Teenage Witch; Mark Wilkerson, Grammy nominee; Harold Perrineau, Lost; Elizabeth Rohm, Law & Order; Fred Savage, The Wonder Years; Jodie Sweetin; Full House; Lauren Sanchez, actress and news anchor and Sean Patrick Thomas, The District, Save the Last Dance.

This year’s Golden Rattle award recipients include Dr. Lisa Masterson, of the new television series “The Doctors” and Dr. Peter S. Waldstein, one of Hollywood’s most sought-after pediatricians.
