Republican vice-presidential candidate Sarah Palin became a grandmother on December 27th. Her 18-year-old daughter Bristol Palin welcomed a baby boy with her boyfriend Levi Johnston. Tripp Easton Mitchell Johnston weighed 7 lb., 7 oz. "The baby is fine and Bristol is doing well. Everyone is excited," says Bristol's grandmother.
Palin is going to finish high school through correspondence courses. Johnston and Palin are planning on getting married sometime in 2009.
