Actor Kevin Costner and his wife Christine Baumgartner welcomed a baby boy into the world on Thursday, February 12. The baby boy, Hayes Logan Costner weighted in at 8 pounds, 15 ounces. Kevin had recently revealed to AP Radio he wanted to name baby Hayes, after a cowboy character in a Western that he is planning to film because he believes that Hayes is a “great Western name.”

The couple had announced their pregnancy in October and confirmed that it would be a boy later that month.

Hayes is the second son for the couple. Their first son Cayden is 21 months old. Kevin also has 3 grown children from a previous marriage.
