When you ask No Doubt’s Gwen Stefani what she has been doing recently and her answer will be, “I’ve been making babies!” In an interview with Detroit’s Mojo in the Morning, the mom said that her laid-back lifestyle since completing her last tour is about to head down a new path as she and husband, Gavin Rossdale, both prepare for world tours.

6 month old Zuma Nesta Rock will also be gearing up for the ride with his rocker mother who is worry-free when it comes to her “sweet, chunky” little boy. The same is not true for 2 ½ year old Kingston. “King has [a] really big opinion about what we do, so we’ll figure it out,” the mother of two shares. “We’ll pretty much be going to all the zoos and different places on our days off.”

Even though Gwen cannot wait to take her little ones on the road, she sometimes misses the old days. “Some days I miss the old selfish touring days where you just sleep all day, but those days are gone. I just need to accept it.”

During the interview, she was asked about Zuma’s unusual name choice. She reference Zuma Beach, California, a location “really close to where we live.” Gwen also mentioned that the idea came from No Doubt member, Tom Dumont, whose wife was also expecting a baby around the same time. She said that while No Doubt was working on a new record Tom and her were swapping baby names when Tom mentioned the name Zuma. “I kind of stole it from him…I didn’t steal it, I mean his wife didn’t want it. It was just one of those things that happened. I just wanted [Zuma] to have a little bit of a quirky name,” Gwen stated.
