The oldest child of the Duggar family, Joshua Duggar, and his wife Anna are expecting! On the Today show, Joshua and Anna announced the news, along with a description of how they found out.

“I took the pregnancy test, but I couldn’t bear to look at it because I didn’t want to be disappointed,” Anna explains. Joshua kept the positive test a secret, and then announced the news to Anna and the entire Duggar family later that night. “I said, ‘You’re going to join the Mommy team,’” Joshua says.

The Duggar family is known through their reality show on TLC, called 18 Kids and Counting. On the show, parents Jim Bob and Michelle raise their eighteen children (eight girls and ten boys, all with names starting with a “J”) in Tontitown, Arkansas to their belief system, which works very well. The second season premiered Joshua and Anna’s wedding, after having spent the first season courting. And now, a baby!
