Pitcher Tom Glavine and his wife Christine have adopted a baby boy! Kienan Patrick Glavine joined the four other children in the family a little over a month ago. Kienan joins Tom and Christine’s two sons, Peyton Thomas and Mason Riley, plus Tom’s daughter Amber Nicole and Christina’s son Jonathan to form a family of seven.

With a newborn, Tom and Christine are not receiving a lot of sleep, but that’s okay for them, Tom told MLB.com. “It’s fun. I enjoy it. Chris enjoys it. In the long run, it will keep us young. It will keep me in the carpool for a long, long time. You can’t ever say that I’ll be bored.”

Former ER actress Parminder Nagra and husband James Stenson welcomed their first child- a baby boy! The baby boy, named Kai David Singh Stenson, arrived on Tuesday, May 19th. No further details have been released, but a rep told Us Weekly that “Mother, daddy, and baby are all doing great.” The pregnancy was announced in December, and new dad James Stenson was a great help during the pregnancy by taking complete control of the baby shower.

Victoria’s Secret Angel Adriana Lima and NBA star husband Marko Jaric have some expecting news! Adriana is pregnant and due in the winter! She’ll have to have a baby shower for winter clothing to bundle the newborn in!

Adriana and Marko met in 2006, got engaged two years later, and eloped on Valentine’s Day this year. This will be their first child.

So here is a weird celebrity pregnancy announcement that Celebitchy found! Tila Tequila, singer-model-television personality-reality television bachelorette, wrote on her Twitter page:

Gold-medalist Kerri Walsh welcomed a baby boy Friday, May 22nd, naming him Joseph Michael Jennings!

“We could not be more thrilled to welcome Joseph into the world,” Kerri told People. “It’s the most incredible feeling. We are already so in love with him and it’s such an amazing, special moment for our family.”

Kerri earned gold medals in beach volleyball at the 2004 and 2008 Olympics, but the joy of a newborn seems bigger to Kerri, now a new mom. Congratulations!

Unfortunately, the celebritybabies.info blog has some sad news to share today. Exodus Tyson, the 4-year-old daughter of boxer Mike Tyson, passed away at 11:45 a.m. Tuesday.

“We are grateful for the tremendous outpouring of love and prayers from all over the world,” Mike said in a statement. “There are no words to describe the tragic loss of our beloved Exodus. We ask you now to please respect our need at this very difficult time for privacy to grieve and try to help each other heal.”

Exodus was critically injured Monday after becoming trapped in a treadmill cable at her home in Phoenix. Police Sgt. Andy Hill told FOX News, “Somehow she was playing on this treadmill, and there’s a cord that hangs under the console – it’s kind of a loop. Either she slipped or put her head in the loop, but it acted like a noose, and she was obviously unable to get herself off of it.” Her 7-year-old brother found her hanging from the cable Monday morning around 10:30 a.m. and Exodus’s mother immediately called 911. We send our condolences to the Tyson family.

Mid-April, Robyn filed for divorce after 28 years of marriage to Mel Gibson due to “irreconcilable differences.” At the end of April, Mel went public with his relationship with Russian musician Oksana Grigorieva. Rumors of pregnancy abound, and now Mel’s rep confirmed the news with People. Oksana is pregnant, in her second trimester, and due in the late fall.

Concerning the divorce, Mel Gibson admits sadness on The Tonight Show With Jay Leno, but hope as friends. “My wife and I, our marriage ended three years ago and we’ve been separated ever since then.”

However, Mel is excited about welcoming a newborn. Mel joked about the news. “This is true, we’re going to have a child. I guess I’m Octo-Mel now.” This will be the eighth child for Mel, who already has seven children with Robyn. This will be the second child for Oksana, who has a son with actor Timothy Dalton.

Actress Jacqueline Hendy is six months pregnant! Plus, the newborn is to be a baby boy! Jacqueline and her husband have already chosen the first name, Alexander, for their first child, but told the Soap Opera Digest that they have “not decided on the middle name yet.”

Melissa Joan Hart and her husband Mark Wilkerson have been seen around with their boys Mason Walter and Braydon ‘Brady’ Hart! The parents and their toddlers were at the premiere of the computer-animated 3-D film Up! in Los Angeles.

After playing the role of children on television as Sabrina The Teenage Witch and Clarissa Explains It All, Melissa became a mom in 2006 with her first son Mason. Now she wants to achieve a lifelong dream of a “sugary wonderland,” a dream many children have. Thus the opening of Sweet Harts- the grand opening is Saturday, May 30th from 2-5 p.m.!

Actress Renee Elise Goldsberry (known for her Broadway work) and husband Alexis Johnson welcomed a baby boy! A spokesperson for the couple shared with the Soap Opera Digest that “both mom and baby are doing great. Their family is overjoyed, and they are praising God for this perfect miracle.” The newborn’s name has also been revealed as Benjamin.

Television actor Chad Lowe and girlfriend Kim Painter had a baby girl! Mabel Painter Lowe arrived Saturday, May 16th to the delight of the first-time parents. They have been gathering as much advice as possible these past few months. The pregnancy was announced in January, with a low profile throughout.

After giving birth to her baby girl, Megan, Alison Sweeney returned to her job as host of The Biggest Loser competition. It had to be hard to exercise with two small children (Alison’s son Ben is 4) to lose the pregnancy weight, but Alison Sweeney flaunted a gorgeous figure on the show.

“People ask me why I was so committed to losing weight after Megan was born and why I wanted to do it quickly,” explains Alison to TV Guide. “I felt that I owed it to the contestants, to every person that stood on that scale next to me and given it everything they had all week long to get there. I owed it to them to show them I honored what they did and how brave they are and I wanted to be a part of that.”

Alison also has had a personal struggle with weight “I’ve struggled with weight my whole life and I don’t want my children to struggle with it.” Firmly against the problem of childhood obesity, Alison serves as a role model for her children as she promotes healthy eating habits. “You’re a role model now, so spending time on yourself to get healthy, spending time to go to the gym, is actually the best gift you can give your kids.” The Biggest Loser prompted the contestants and the people of America to lose weight this season, and the influence is spreading. Olympic swimmer Amanda Beard and husband Sacha Brown enjoyed a sunset marriage barefoot on a beach in Indonesia at the beginning of this month. After the ceremony, Amanda and Sacha enjoyed a steak dinner, a beautiful chocolate cake, and non-alcoholic Shirley Temples. Yes, non-alcoholic. Amanda is officially pregnant, and expecting a baby boy in September.

Furthermore, she has the goal of returning to the water about half a year after the birth of her newborn and plans to compete in the 2012 Olympics. Amanda has competed in four straight Olympic Games since she was 14 in 1996 and has won seven Olympic medals. Now she has further reason to celebrate- married and expecting!

Bryce Dallas Howard has a two-year-old toddler, Theodore ‘Theo’ Norman running around her home, and most fans would assume the actress would have wanted to lose that baby weight immediately afterwards. However, she was encouraged to keep the weight!

After Bryce had given birth, McG, the director of Terminator Salvation, offered Bryce the role of Kate, the wife of the hero John Connor. “I was so excited, but then was just kind of waiting to tell him, ‘I’m not in great shape right now,’ ” Bryce told People. “He said, ‘Oh, that’s okay. [Kate's] really pregnant. That’ll be even better.’”

When Bryce did begin to slim down, McG started giving the actress cookies, for “continuity” of the eight month pregnant Kate. Now, with diet and exercise, Bryce is back to her usual proportions, arriving at the Terminator Salvation premiere in a snug, multi-colored dress. Terminator Salvation airs this week!

Comedian Wanda Sykes and wife Alex welcomed both a baby girl and a baby boy April 27th! Alex delivered fraternal twins, baby girl Olivia Lou and baby boy Lucas Claude. Wanda and Alex married in October 2008, and the newborn twins are the first for the couple.
