For Mother’s Day, mother of one and soon to be two Nicole Richie enjoyed the pleasure of a little extra sleep. With her pregnancy and preparing for the new baby, she probably needed the extra Z’s. Joel Madden, Nicole’s boyfriend, twittered “We let Nicole sleep today, now we are having a little Mom’s day breakfast.” However, most important for the couple to express on Mother’s Day was the need to help other families enjoy Mother’s Day. Joel twittered for donations for the Richie-Madden Foundation on Mother’s Day to help disadvantaged children and raise awareness. While enjoying Mother’s Day themselves, they wanted to help others, which is just great and deserves a highlight.
